Human history has been progressing in a linear pattern of
situation/reaction; a never-ending battle between relative good and evil. For example: the two-party political system
where each ideological platform defines itself on the basis of its opposition.
They appear to be polar opposites, but really they just exemplify the sick
functioning of duality where no commonality can be recognized and thus they compete
with each other instead of developing their own distinct viewpoints.
Without distinct viewpoints, there is nothing to be
synthesized, and without synthesis, there is no creation, no expansion into
another octave of experience. Instead, repetitive cycles continue endlessly
until they can be recognized from a higher perspective, on another level; it is
the spiral of expansion versus the circle of samsara.
This dynamic is happening on macrocosmic levels through
politics and culture, and on microcosmic levels through the personal patterns
of sickness and the search for healing. Awakening is about getting out of this
dialectic altogether and re-integrating divine structures of consciousness. It
is not to abolish duality through clichés about oneness in the sense of
eradicating differences into homogeneity. Rather, it is to understand oneness
in the sense of the interconnectedness of life and that all differences can
co-exist and serve to expand the great unity of life.
To transform dualistic situations we can call for the sacred
structure of the Vesica Piscis, which shows us that two beings are not two
¨sides¨ or ¨halves¨ of a duality but two whole and complete individual units,
who, when relating through Holy Spirit, will give birth to a third aspect, to
new life.

This is why I do not care very much about what is happening
in politics. Although I do see the relative good and evil playing out, I know that
becoming invested in such dramas is disempowering for all people, as they hook
our awareness into the existent duality paradigm and distract us from focusing
on spirit and working for a new paradigm to take root.
Of course, these spectacles are propagated by the forces of
control to keep the human in a state of reactionary emotion, exploiting
people´s very genuine desire to do good and fight for justice. There are many
different hidden agendas being played out at this time, and they require that we
stay in a lower consciousness so that we can continue to be manipulated by our fears
and insecurities.
We need this greater wider vision of what is unfolding on
the planet and how we can participate as empowered sovereign beings— instead of
pawns in someone else´s game— if we are to give birth to a new society. This is
the vital importance of the movement of spiritual awakening now occurring, as
it is the element of Spirit that can truly unite people in all their
diversity. Spirit is what makes us all equal despite the differences, all divine and complete
individuals who are motivated by the truth of love rather than the illusion of fear.
